Forwarding Calls to External Destinations

Sometimes you may be required to forward calls to an external number (i.e. a number not hosted by VIA), for example, a call answering service.

For security reasons, only VIA can add external numbers currently. If you wish to have numbers added to the portal, please raise a ticket for this. Please note that we require proof of ownership for the external number, such as an invoice.

NB - Currently only UK numbers starting with 01, 02, 03 & 07 can be set as an external number. You will also be charged per minute for the number forward at the same rate as your outbound dialing tariff.
