"Calls to this number are not allowed - please contact your IT team for further information"
If you hear this message when calling your DDI, there are a few things you can check before contacting VIA Support:
Call Forwarding on Mobile app:
When you initially install the Skype for Business mobile app it will prompt you to enter your mobile number.
You will need to ensure this is entered in the correct format (e.g. +447123456789 not 07123456789) or the message "Calls to this number are not allowed - please contact your IT team for further information" will be heard when calls are forwarded.
To check what number is currently stored, once you log in press the profile icon at the top left, then select Calls and meetings.
Check that your number has been entered in the correct format, if not please press New Number to add the correct number.
You will hear this message if there is a call forward to a number that is not allowed in your dial plan. To check what numbers are in your dial plan, log in to https://portal.via.co.uk and select Setup > Dial Policy.
